At the Roebuck Hotel we pride ourselves on organising Wedding Receptions. Our friendly team will help in every way they can to ensure a happy day that is memorable for all the right reasons.

The Ashdown Suite

The Ashdown suite overlooks the lawns of the Hotel gardens through picture doors that open onto the terrace. It is subtly decorated to complement your chosen colour scheme and will comfortably accommodate up to 100 guest for your wedding breakfast and 160 for your evening party. The hotel gardens, ablazze with colour throughout the spring and summer months provide a beautiful setting for those all important wedding photographs and a sage area in which children can play. The Ashdown suite is complemented by the adjoining Huntsman bar, which is available for your private use from arrival drinks until your last guest has departed.

Wedding Ceremonies

The Ashdown Suite, which will seat up to 100 guests leaving some space at the back for standing, is licensed for Weddings.

Much of the Ceremony information is dealt with directly by the Registrar in Crowborough bt we will be able to supply you with some of the more general information. The Registrar's fee is to be arranged directly with them.

Accommodation

Guest who are celebrating your day with you may wish to stay the night. They can have a twin or double room with English breadfast.

When block-booking a number of rooms in advance please inform us of the main family members who require romms before we release the booked rooms to your other guests. Any rooms not allocated one month before the wedding will be relaesed unless you instruct us otherwise.

A feature room for the Bride and Groom is complimentary on the wedding night.

Menus

You will find a selection of dishes in our wedding pack. Choose a starter, main course and dessert to suit your taste. Coffee and mints are included in the tariff. If you have any suggestions please let us know and we can incorporate them and offer you a quote for the new menu

Naturally these menus are only our suggestions, should you have a favourite dish that you would like to include, don't hesitate to ask and allow our team to show that we can be just as versatile as our clients!

Chef's Buffet

These elaborately presented Buffets are ideal as a n alternative to a formal sit down meal and are more suitable during the hotter summer months

Whatever combination you use to make up your 3 course chef's buffet the tariff is the same.

Evening Buffet Selection

An evening reception can be arranged to compliment your wedding breakfast. This gives you the opportunity of inviting friends and relatives who were not able to attend the afternoon's event.

Arrival Drinks and Wines

You will find suggestion for arrival drinks, wine and champagne/sparkling wines. You will, of course, be able to upgrade by choosing wines from our wine list.

Corkage

We will be happy to discuss corkage charges with you if you wish to supply your own wine/champagne.

Cake Stand and Knife

We can provide you with a large round or square cake stand and a knife with which to cut the cake.

Table Linen

The tables are laid with white linen cloths and napkins

Table Plan

We will be more than happy to help you decide on your seating plan.

Room Hire

£300.00
There is no room hire charge for functions of sixty guests or more.

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of £400.00 is required to secure your booking. Full payment for your reception is due 14 days prior to the event.
